Vegreville Dash to Summer
Save the dates! Vegreville Dash to Summer is set for May 29-31, 2026 with an admission fee of $5 (free for children 5 and under).
The event will feature exciting highlights, including APCCA Chariot and Chuckwagon Racing, an Open Horse Show, and Beer Gardens for all three days. Guests can enjoy Chicken Races, a Chicken Costume Dash for Beer, a Bean Bag/Corn Hole Tournament, and a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday. With food trucks and on-site camping available, it promises to be a fun-filled event for everyone!
FRIDAY:
- Gates open at 3:00 PM
- Beer gardens (dining hall) open at 4:00 PM
- Grand reopening of the grandstand at 5:30 PM
- APCCA Chariots at 6:00 PM
- Inflatable costume races at 7:00 PM
- APCCA Chuckwagon races at 7:30 PM
SATURDAY:
- Horse show starts at 8:30 AM
- Pancake breakfast ($5) in dining hall from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- Gates open at 9:30 AM
- Bean bag tournament at 1:00 PM
- Beer gardens open at 12:00 noon
- APCCA Chariots at 6:00 PM
- APCCA Chuckwagon races at 7:30 PM
SUNDAY:
- Gates open at 10:00 AM
- Chicken races at 11:00 AM
- Beer gardens open at 12:00 noon
- APCCA Chariots at 1:00 PM
- APCCA Chuckwagon races at 2:30 PM
